Korean Drama Review (I Miss You / Missing You)

Number of Episodes: 21
Broadcast Period: 2012-Nov-7 to 2013-Jan-17
My Rating: 8.5/10

Three children (Park Yoochun, Yoon Eun Hye and Yoo Seung Ho) whos lives has been trashed by Yoochun's father greed for money.

Can a person really forget blood relation when money in involve?

Can they face their future without any regard to their dark and horible past?

Can the three co-exixt even after finding out the truth about their relationship with each other?

This is the first time I see Yoo Seung Ho plays a dark evil person.
The last TV series he made before joining the 2 years mandatory military service.

This could have been a better series if they have not extended it. The flashbacks are just too unbearable for me. They keep on repeating and repeating it!

The acting is very good, specially the child actors who played the young Yoochun and Yoon Eun Hye.

This is the first series of Park Yoochun that I have watched, thanks to Yoon Eun Hye for being in the cast. Thus after watching this series I have decided to watch Rooftop Prince to see other Yoochun's acting projects.

U-KISS: Collage

Coming Very Very Soon!!!!!

I'm so excited! Are you?

Korean Drama Review (Secret Garden)

Number of Episodes: 20
Broadcast Period: 2010-Nov-13 to 2011-Jan-16
My Rating: 9.5/10

Kim Joo Won (Hyun Bin) is a claustrophobic Chaebol who's life got intertwined with Gil Ra Im (Ha Ji Wo) a very extraordinary lady.

Ra Im is an acting double who's in-love with Oska, a "Big" Korean artist, who is incidentally a cousin of Joo Won.

The plot, the transition of scenes, the acting of the actors, it was all perfect for me.

The only thing that I didn't like about the series is its length, it has only 20 episodes. I hope they have extended the series further.

Korean Drama Review (Faith)

Number of Episodes: 24
Broadcast Period: 2012-Aug-13 to 2012-Oct-30
My Rating: 3/10

The series is about a swordsman/bodyguard/head of security (played by Lee Min Ho) in the Goryeo Era who traveled to the modern times of the Republic of Korea to find a healer (Doctor) for the injured queen. He was successful in bringing a healer back to their "world".

Up to this point of the story I was still fascinated by the concept. I think its quite unique in some ways.

But on watching the succeeding episodes I find the story dry, dull or in other word boring. The rating of 3 that I gave this drama is incomplete because I  stopped watching on the 18th episode. I can't continue to agonize myself on the poor plots and twists of events. Its very predictable. The acting of Lee Min Ho is also poor in this drama. I thought he improved in City Hunter, I like how he acted in that drama compared to this. The doctor/healer in this drama is also too old in my opinion to be cast in this series.

I have opted to stop watching on episode 10 but I really tried to give this series extra patience. But it all run out now. I really can't continue to watch this any further.

Korean Drama Review (To the Beautiful You)

Number of Episodes: 16
Broadcast Period: 2012-Aug-15 to 2012-Oct-04
My Rating: 5/10

The series is a franchise from the popular Japanese Manga.

Compared to the previous Series (Taiwanese and Japanese) this drama did very poor with viewers rating. When I read about it I began to think how could these be if Shinee's Minho and f(x) Sulli is starring it. Then I started watching it. That's how I know why.

The story is very much different compared to the 2 Series (Taiwanese and Japanese). With 16 episodes that runs more than an hour the story is too dragging. Compared to the Japanese version which only have 12 Episodes and runs less than an hour, the Japanese version cover more story and interesting side stories. The characters in the Taiwanese (Wu Chun) Japanese (Shun Oguri) fit the role very well. For some odd reason Shinee Minho didn't fit the role.

Don't get me wrong. The reason why I like Shinee is only because of Minho.  I have been praying long ago for Minho to act on a T.V. series. But unfortunately the role didn't fit him very well.

The only reason it got a 5 and not a 2 is because of  Kang Ha Neul who plays the rival of Minho.
