Number of Episodes: 20
Broadcast Period: 2010-Nov-13 to 2011-Jan-16
My Rating: 9.5/10
Kim Joo Won (Hyun Bin) is a claustrophobic Chaebol who's life got intertwined with Gil Ra Im (Ha Ji Wo) a very extraordinary lady.
Ra Im is an acting double who's in-love with Oska, a "Big" Korean artist, who is incidentally a cousin of Joo Won.
The plot, the transition of scenes, the acting of the actors, it was all perfect for me.
The only thing that I didn't like about the series is its length, it has only 20 episodes. I hope they have extended the series further.
Number of Episodes: 24
Broadcast Period: 2012-Aug-13 to 2012-Oct-30
My Rating: 3/10
The series is about a swordsman/bodyguard/head of security (played by Lee Min Ho) in the Goryeo Era who traveled to the modern times of the Republic of Korea to find a healer (Doctor) for the injured queen. He was successful in bringing a healer back to their "world".
Up to this point of the story I was still fascinated by the concept. I think its quite unique in some ways.
But on watching the succeeding episodes I find the story dry, dull or in other word boring. The rating of 3 that I gave this drama is incomplete because I stopped watching on the 18th episode. I can't continue to agonize myself on the poor plots and twists of events. Its very predictable. The acting of Lee Min Ho is also poor in this drama. I thought he improved in City Hunter, I like how he acted in that drama compared to this. The doctor/healer in this drama is also too old in my opinion to be cast in this series.
I have opted to stop watching on episode 10 but I really tried to give this series extra patience. But it all run out now. I really can't continue to watch this any further.
